WHY TAKE COOKING CLASSES?

Why should I take a cooking class? Why bother to learn to cook at all when there are so many around the pick-up, right? Learning to cook is to learn to dance. When you have never done, it can be very scary, something easier to avoid. However, when someone shows a few basic steps, you suddenly realize, hey, this is fun! It is no longer a terrible effort, but the activity should be savored, enjoyed, when the cooking class starts at a much faster fun than trying to learn on their own, but without the trained eye and hand to guide you.
